The Article About Bearings And Deep Groove Ball Bearings - Advantages And Features

Bearings:

The ‘Bearings’ is one of the most amazing inventions in mechanical industry with highly engineered, extremely advanced components that enable machinery to move at immensely high speeds and capable of carrying exceptional loads with ease and efficiency.

‘Bearings’ should be able to offer high accuracy, reliability and durability as well as the capacity rotates at higher speeds with minimum vibration and noise.

The deep groove ball bearings are a type of bearing suitable for very high speeds, able to carry radial and axial load in both directions and need little maintenance. The deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type available in many models, sizes and variants.

The Simple ‘Deep Groove Ball Bearing’ Design has many advantages:

1. Operate at lower or minimal noise.
2. Better radial & axial load carrying capacity.
3. Suitable for extremely high speeds.
4. Needs less maintenance.
5. Lightweight and unbreakable.

The ‘Deep Groove Ball Bearings’ has following Features:

1. High Quality Steel: The Ultra quality of steel to enhance the bearing life more than 80%.

2. Quality Assured: Tested 100% on harsh environment, heavy loads with overall product quality.

3. High Class Balls: Smooth and quiet operation even at heavy loads and high-speed.

4. Super-Finished Deep Grooves: Finely smoothed track improving lubricant distribution and balls life.

5. Covering Seals: It prevents the entry of dust and other contaminants which may hamper the functioning of bearings.

The Different Types Of Materials used in Deep Groove Bearing:

1. Chrome Steel: The Chrome Steel has high Carbon and about 1.5% of Chromium content. The normal surface hardness of bearing units made from this material range from 60-64 RC scale (Rockwell Hardness). The bearing manufactured under controlled processing and heat-treating methods gives high strength to prevent cracking and prevent inner surface rolling contact fatigue.

2. Carbon Steel Alloy: The Bearing made from the medium Carbon steel alloy is commonly called ‘Commercial Grade’ bearings. These are usually less resistant to corrosion and lower load carrying capacity.

3. Lower Carbon Alloy Steel Bearings: These have a lower percentage of carbon used in manufacturing of metal shields for bearings, washers around which rubber is covered for seals and bearing cages. These materials need to be guarded from rust with a coat of grease or oil or by shields.

4. Stainless Steel Bearing: This is made of stainless steel material with slightly lower carbon and chromium content. After the heat treatment process, smaller content of carbides is added so bearings produce low noise and rust resistant. The Rockwell hardness is up to RC-60.
